About Us

Marie + Charlie is an internet-based company selling a variety of popular French brands of handmade and novelty jewelry, or, as they say in French: Bijoux Fantaisies. Marie has loved fashion as far back as she can remember, and as a child, she and her sisters would spend hours trying on clothes and pretending to be in beauty contests. In 2000, Marie left France and moved to the United States. Every summer, she would go back to France to visit her family and (of course) go shopping with her best friend, Celine, nicknamed Charlie. She would always find unique pieces that she could never find in the US, even at her favorite American stores. Determined to share her love for fashion with the country that she now calls home, she decided to create a website offering all the brands of jewelry she loved. In 2017, she started Marie + Charlie.

The idea of starting her own web-based jewelry company has been a long time coming, but worth the wait as we are now so happy to show different facets of French fashion. As you know, fashion is ever evolving, and we are excited to bring you new collections twice a year as well as new designers throughout the year.
